On the upper level an expansive terrace, spanning the width of the home, is designed as the main entertaining space. It is accessed via the kitchen, which in a conscious move away from open plan living, is self-contained. A quiet dining room is tucked away inside, to be used in inclement weather. A separate living area with full height glazing overlooks the terrace and Perth skyline.
The luxurious Master Suite and an adjoining study are on the undercroft level, and enjoy views across the pool, cabana and terraced gardens to the river beyond. To ensure privacy for the owners, the two guest bedrooms are on the upper level overlooking the front garden.
The feel of this modern architectural home is sophisticated and moody, with a palette of ebony timber panelling, dark face brick and earthy materials. The interiors continue this modern, minimal palette whilst introducing additional timber and textural elements to warm the spaces. This is balanced by a central atrium, to bring light into the home.
