Brief

Our design brief included creating a modern single level home that would maximise northern light (while ensuring privacy), be extremely spacious and feature open-plan living, good security and low maintenance.

Resolution

The living rooms are designed to open directly to the outdoor entertaining area, which has a strong focal point through the design of a lit pool and water feature. Natural materials, including travertine and limestone, recessed lighting and shadowline cornices, are among the elegant finishing touches. 
The Humphrey Homes planning and design team made it easy for us to readily evaluate our options. We were able to plan with, and speak directly to the builder, unlike the large building companies where contact is with the sales consultant. Variations requested during the building process were handled with ease and with a minimum of fuss. We are extremely happy with our new home. We feel like we are living in a resort and don’t want to wake up from the dream!
